'Red Sails', 33 x 37cm, Derek Nice Derek has worked as an art and design teacher and art director for films, television and museums. He now makes and constructs images and objects influenced by maritime themes from English coastal memories and research into archaeology in northern Europe and the Mediterranean. Mary was Curator of the Museum of English Naive Art in Bath for ten years before it departed to Compton Verney. She organised concerts, workshops and exhibitions and has subsequently begun to make her own images from old linen and dyed recycled materials and works and exhibits from a Somerset barn. |
